I don't really know much about Dan Brown, I got the copy from my friend and I wasn't even able to complete it when I returned it.
I came into lessons in Chemistry, thinking it was just like any other love story but it was so much more than that. I really enjoyed it and I loved how unpredictable it was. I just wished Calvin hadn't died before meeting his mother.
I am so glad the Kids Lit Club event went well, I haven't read any of the books you mentioned so I might check them out.
I am currently reading Lessons in Chemistry and Origin by Dan Brown.
I also finished Inferno and it gave all it was supposed to give.
Thank you for the kind words!
I'd love to hear your thoughts on Lessons in Chemistry - I've heard good things :)
Also, where would you recommend someone start with Dan Brown?
