Reader,
I haven’t written you since Nairobi LitFest (you can watch my session with David Maillu below and many other sessions on the YouTube channel) because…life has been doing its thing (memoir forthcoming etc etc). I hope to be back to regular updates by the end of Q3.
Before then:
I’m putting together a bingo board for this year’s Nairobi International Trade Fair (“the show”) - happening 28th September to 4th October - and would love your suggestions for different squares. I’ll share it with you all when I’m done. Thanks in advance!
Listen to and/ or watch my dear friend Winnie Makokha discuss child safety in this podcast episode. I’d love to discuss it with you!
This exhibition, which I worked on behind the scenes, opens next week on Wednesday. Please go see it (and take part) if you can (RSVP for the exhibition opening here and for events including talks and a monument walk here)
Early next month: the African Book Fair. Join me if you can!
On the 8th of August, my dear friend Ann Kariuki will be leading the Prelude Orchestra at Loreto Convent Valley Road. Join me if you can (get your ticket here)
Mark your calendar!
